Integrated Services shortlisted for two Housing Innovation Awards

4 February 2013

Supply chain and procurement specialist Integrated Services has been shortlisted for two prestigious Housing Innovation Awards.

Launched in 2012, the awards recognise excellence and a ‘pioneering spirit’ in the housing industry, celebrating original and inventive schemes and services. This year, Integrated Services, a Wolseley UK company, has been nominated in the categories ‘Most Innovative IT System’ and ‘Most Innovative Supplier’, which is new for 2013.

Grant Richardson, trading director Integrated Services & new channel development director - Wolseley UK, comments: “We're delighted to be recognised in not one but two categories at this year's awards. It is testament to all the hard work the team have put in to consistently deliver the best tailored supply solutions and excellent service to our customers.

“By investing in new resources and technologies, such as the Integrated Services Customer Portal which we launched last year, we have been able to evolve with our customers' needs and provide them with a service that encourages optimum visibility and flexibility.

“The portal is the first of its kind in the industry and is a tailored, intuitive tool for customers to access up-to-date, relevant information and reports at their fingertips. This way, they can keep track of their contract remotely and ensure that process efficiency and performance is maximised. In times where even the smallest margins are important, having this kind of innovative tool can make a big difference. It's been received extremely well by customers and we are especially pleased that it has been nominated by our peers as a potential award winner in the ‘Most Innovative IT System’ category, and we hope it has contributed to our nomination for ‘Most Innovative Supplier’.”

This year's Housing Innovation Awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday 13 February 2013 at the Park Plaza Riverbank in central London. For more details, visit
